Our Tumor Boards function as a forum to review and collaboratively discuss each of our cancer cases. Patient Coordinators and Nurse Navigators

From the very first interaction, patient coordinators and nurse navigators assist our patients by calling them before their appointment, accompanying them before and after their examination and planning further steps like test arrangements, consultations, and additional appointments if necessary.

Family-Oriented Treatment

Our family-oriented approach aims to ease any possible difficulties that a family might experience while undergoing treatment in a foreign country. This comprehensive approach expands from coordinating insurance policy issues to providing psychological support to family members.

Survivorship

At any stage oof treatment, our patients and their families & caregivers join our survivorship program which provides a variety of services including support groups, educational publications, art facilities and social activities.

Chemo Unit

Our chemotherapy unit is specifically designed to provide a welcoming environment with well-trained caring nurses and pharmacists dedicated to chemotherapeutic medication management for our patients who undergo chemotherapy.

Intensive Care Unit

Radiation Oncology

The MD Anderson Radiation Treatment Center at American Hospital is the first MD Anderson radiation treatment facility outside the United States that fully replicates the institution's algorithms and standards delivered by caregivers trained in Houston. In order to facilitate the environment where all treatments are identical to those in Houston all cases are evaluated with physicians at the main campus.

This process can be summarized as 'one practice model' which allows the patient to receive the identical treatment they would receive at the MD Anderson Center in Houston. All medical technology and quality control metrics are identical with MD Anderson Center.
